Thorn and Rose is an RP, or roleplay forum. So what's roleplay? That's simple. It's kind of like writing a story- you take a character, or your own, and write to others. They do the same thing and write you back, and you tell your story together.

This, of course, is a lot of fun and all. Your RP's are entirely your imagination, but you must remember to follow all the rules. Be sure to read that! ^^

If this is your first time RPing, happy times are ahead of you! Have fun!

Your Admin,

Xeora

*jumps up and down in the backrow*  I GOT A QQQUUUEEESSSTTTIIOOONNN!!!

What if someone isn't too great at writing yet?  Like, they are just getting started or they aren't entirely experienced or they just don't know to capitilize and some crap?

In other words, is it required to be a good writer?  Not good-good, otherwise I'd be LONG GONE, but like...above a 13 year old's average ability?

Must a person capitilize, grammerize, and punctuate fairly well to be a good roleplayer, or to be allowed to roleplay period?

Yet again, this standard I am using is not based on "perfection". X3

Of course, new comers to roleplay are fine, right?  Which comes to my last few questions based on this topic...

If a person isn't to great at roleplay and they come here, are they required to at least progress in their writing ability? What if they don't, and pretty much say "i like the way i rp so i will keep rping like this"?

No offense to anyone out there, and mind you--I don't require much, but that would be annoying to me...  I at least want someone to capitilize right.  So if they refuse help on their writing skills or if their posts don't make sense because they can't gather up a sentence well, what then?  O_o

You don't have to be smart to know you're stupid.  You just are! ^_^

SQUEE FOR MANSEX!!!!

RP how you feel would be most comfortable for you and your players. How you write is up to you, but just write it in a way that we CAN UNDERSTAND. These posts have an edit button, so just fix things as you go.

If you want to write in a scrïpt style is fine by me. Just stick to the rules please.
